Mommy is busy with Consignment
This past week mommy has been up to the wee hours of the night working on my consignment stuff. I had entered over 500 items for the fall/winter sale. That's crazy!! I think my kids are well stocked on clothes but hey I just want them to look good. It takes a lot of my time but in the end it's well worth it. I did really well the first night. The first night is only presale and it is not opened to the public until Sunday. Michele and I went last night and we got a lot of good buys. I was looking for winter items and was able to get a great deal on Logan's winter jacket and Madison's winter jacket as well. I also got Madison's Halloween costume. She is going to be a beautiful purple unicorn. The costume is adorable. I can't wait for everyone to see it. Stay tuned on the end result of my sale. I had entered in over $2800. Now I won't get all of that because they take 30% and I take 70% and as I was tagging things I found some items that had stains and couldn't be sold. We will see. I can't wait to see.
Brooklyn Starts Soccer and Dance this Week
This starts the activities. I guess now our days will be filled with a lot of activities. It will be crazy when we have all three of them in different activities. Don't ask me how we are going to do that. Brooklyn has her first soccer practice on Tuesday night. She will practice from 530-630 pm. Her coach is one of our neighbors. Their daughter Ava is in kindergarten as well. There are 8 girls, half from Carroll and half from the new elementary Purefoy. Their team neam is called Fancy FC. It's named after Fancy Nancy collection. Their colors are white and pink. This is perfect because the soccer gear we bought for Brooklyn was all pink. Her first game will be on September 11th. I don't know the time just yet and the where abouts of the game. She also starts her new dance class on Wednesdays. Her class will be from 430-530. She and Campbell will be in the same class. These two girls are joined at the hip it seems like. There have been many good things said about her new dance academy and I hope for the best because she really enjoys her dance. The class will consist of tap and ballet. The reason we left Sheena's was because they didn't offer anymore combo classes and she would have to do 45 minutes of ballet and turn around and do 45 minutes of tap. That is way too much for a 5 year old. Lets Rock and Roll!!
Logan Meets his Teachers
Logan will start school on Monday. He is so excited to go back to school. He had so much fun this summer that I hope he has as much fun if not more fun during the school year. There are 14 kids in his class. He has two teachers, Kathy and Tasha. They are new teachers to Apple Creek so it will be interesting on how well they do. Apple Creek has high expectations so they just won't hire anyone off the street. Logan did get to meet some of his new friends. It takes awhile for Logan to open up and not be so shy. He will attend MWF from 12-240. It's going to be close on picking him up and getting back before Brooklyn comes home from school. She will be taking the bus, which she is so excited for, but this will allow me to stay home, keep Madison sleeping, and get my other stuff done. Stay tuned for Logan's updates!
Brooklyn Completes her first week at School
Brooklyn completed her first week at school. She had so much fun. It was everything she expected and even more. She really enjoys waking up each morning to go to school. I hope her attitude will continue on in her school life. She is finally remembering some of her new friends names which is good. She really enjoyed her music class. They were learning a new song. She also liked her PE. She has PE on Thursdays and Fridays. After the first day, I dropped her off at school and she knew exactly where to go. She was a big girl. Its amazing how fast the week goes. I remember when it was just Monday and then Friday. On Thursday, the parents will attend what is curriculum night which in english means, we will go to her class and her teacher, Debbie Womack, will explain to the parents on what the school year will consist of. She has had her first little project to make as well. We had to get a cereal box and Brooklyn had to decorate it any way she wants. Theses boxes will store books that she will complete in class and then turn around and read the book to us parents. I can't wait to see what happens next. Stay tuned!

Brooklyn Tells All
Today was a better day for mommy to get some information out of her. I guess yesterday she was just so over whelm that she didn't know what to think. As I picked her up, she started to talking. She was so excited because tomorrow is music class for her and she told me she is excited to go to music. She was somewhat bummed out because they couldn't go outside and play today because when it was their recess it was sprinkling outside. She did tell me that she has a new friend Lilly and a boy named Landon who sits at her table. I asked her if she knew anyone else's name but didn't get any response from her. She tells me that she loves going to school. Today they had art class and that she painted with pink paint today. Each night she brings home a red folder for mommy and daddy to initial and put back in her backpack to take to school. Today in her folder she brought home some of her art work. She was pretty proud of it. Also, I have now been given her school schedule. During the day, from 100-150 they have what is called "Camp Schedule". On Monday during this time period they have computer classes, on Tuesday it's art, Wed-music, Thurs-PE and Friday is PE. During the day, they are pretty busy from the time they get to school until the time they leave. Hopefully, Brooklyn will start to remember most of what she did so I can tell all of you.
Day #2 for Brooklyn
Don't worry I am not going to report on every single day of school, but I would like to tell how different this morning was compared to yesterday. Brooklyn came racing down the stairs this morning ready to go again. As for mommy, I didn't get up early and get ready. I actually didn't get out of bed till Brooklyn came downstairs this morning. We did our usual things but this morning I dropped off Brooklyn instead of walking inside with her. She felt such like a big girl and she was walked in by her principle. I knew then that she was in good hands and didn't have to think twice about it. For the the three of us, we are back home trying to get a routine set into place. Logan is waiting anxiously to start his school and this Friday we have meet the teacher for him. He can't wait to start his school.

Brooklyn Completes Her First Day of Kindergarten
I am sure everyone wants to know how her first day of school was. Well, picking her up from school was chaotic to say the least. I know things will settle down after awhile but I can bet this week will be the most chaotic and then settle down after that. She was really happy to see me and Logan was thrilled to have his sister back home to play. If you ask Brooklyn what she did today her response was I don't know. I hope that she will be able to remember what she did because throughout the day but it may take some time to get use to. I even asked her if she made any new friends but she told me that I don't remember their names. I am confident that within the next week she will know their names. I will update the blog as much as I can on Brooklyn's schooling.
Brooklyn's First Day at School
Brooklyn has been looking forward for this day for so long. I couldn't tell you how many times she asked me when school was going to start. Mommy was so excited that I was the first one up to take a shower and get ready. When Brooklyn's alarm went off she was down stairs ready to go. Time really flies when you are getting kids ready for school. She already had her outfit picked out ready to go. Mommy was able to get a picture with Daddy and Brooklyn before daddy left for work. We left the house around 730 and it was crazy. The traffice was horrible around the school but I was one of the lucky ones that got to park in the actual parking lot. Unfortunately, I had a stroller with me and another child so that made it even more crowded. Once we got to the school, I took some pictures and then off we went to her classroom. Brooklyn looked so grown up walking into her classroom. She knew where to go and sit and they had their first little assignment to work on. Brooklyn never cried, infact, she told me "to go mommy, I am okay!" As I was walking out, I did have some tears but I knew she was in good hands. Once I left, I never looked back. I will be anxious to talk to her when I pick her up this afternoon.

My Little Madison
As everyone knows this was tax free weekend and it was a busy weekend. Everyone went shopping but I bring this up because Madison is getting bigger and getting more hair. I try my best to do all the kids hair before we go out but sometimes that doesn't happen and I just go with the flow. Madison will let me do her hair but most of the time it won't stay. She will find a way to pull out all her pony tails. Well I finally could put some pig tails in her hair and she looked adorable. I just wanted to share it with everyone.
Meet The Teacher Night
Brooklyn has been looking forward for this all summer. On friday, at 5pm or so we got to meet her teacher for kindergarten and see her classroom. If you asked daddy, mommy was probably more excited than Brooklyn. It felt so surreal walking into the elementary school because I couldn't tell you when the last time I was in a school. Before going in, we looked outside to see the list of the kidergarten's and Brooklyn's name was under Mrs. Debbie Womack. Looking on the window brought me back to the days when I was so excited to go up to the school and see who I got for a teacher and who was in my class. It was fun. I did see that there is another Brooklyn in another class which I was suprised about. We walked down to the kindergarten's classrooms and took a tour of the class. At that time, we met Mrs. Womack, dropped off her school supplies and found her seating place during the class. Brooklyn was just at awe about the whole thing. She looked so grown up and relaxed. It took me by surprise. We also took some pictures for everyone to see.
Brooklyn Goes to her First Sleep over
Brooklyn finally had a sleep over at Campbell's house. The girls were talking about this all summer and finally they got their wish. Brooklyn slept over at Campbell's house and had a blast. Earlier that day Campbell finally told her mom that she wanted to go and get her ears pierced and Michelle and I both said that if one of the other got it done first then the other one would follow suit. Campbell was also brave. I dropped off Brooklyn around 5pm or so and I thought maybe she would want to come home but she made it through the whole night. Michelle said that she put the girls to bed around 8:30 or so but they probably never fully fell asleep till around 11 pm. The house without Brooklyn was kind of quiet and Logan ended up playing with Madison for the rest of the night. Through out the night, Logan asked multiple times where Brooklyn was and when she was coming home. I don't think he realized what was really going on. The night was quiet and peaceful for a change.
Brooklyn Gets Her Ears Pierced
Last Saturday after her friend's birthday party, Brooklyn finally got her ears pierced. She was so excited and we promised her right before she starts school that she could get her ears pierced. Campbell, her bff, was still a little scared to do it so Brooklyn and mommy went by ourselves. She was so determined to do it that nothing bothered Brooklyn. We got to the earing place in the mall and she picked out her pretty pink crystal flowers. The store manager walked Brooklyn through everything and I thought that when it was time to pierce the ears should would chicken out but she didn't even move. Normally, when they are this young, they have two associates do it at the same time but Brooklyn got it done one ear at a time and she was brave the whole time. Mommy was shocked but I was even more shocked on the price of piercing the ears. I was expecting around $15 or so but nope it was 39.99. How things have changed. I wouldn't have changed it for nothing. Brooklyn walked out of the store like a grown little girl. My first born is really growing up.

Brooklyn and Logan attend the Wiggles Concert
Last night we had family night with the wiggles. The only exception was Madison stayed with MeMe and PawPaw. The three of us met daddy at El Phoenix because his company was having their quaterly meeting and we decided to eat dinner there and then head over to Grandprairie for the concert. We got there with plenty of time but the sky opened up and it was just pooring outside. We had invested in a jumbo umbrella and boy did that come in handy. Daddy dropped us off and I thought we would stay dry but having one umbrella and two little kids made it very difficult. Daddy came in a little later but it was still raining. We had really good seats. We had an aisle so the kids could dance on the aisle. This was Brooklyn's third concert and Logan's first concert. I don't think Logan knew what to think. He really did enjoy himself. The pictures tell the story.
Brooklyn and Campbell complete Dance Camp
This past Thursday Brooklyn and Campbell had a little dance recital for all the parents and sibblings. It was adorable. I think it was better than her recital dance back in June. The music was great and the routine was really good. I was very proud of her. There were a couple of classes that went on and all the classes joined together to do the dance routines. I was amazed that they learned 2 routines in 4 days. Yes, the classes were 1 1/2 hour long but they did really good. I did take video of the dances so you all will have to see it. Enjoy the pictures!

Brooklyn and Campbell start Cheer Camp
This weekend the girls started cheer camp at Sheena's. This will be their last session because we have enrolled the girls in another dance studio called Encore Dance Academy. They are a lot smaller but they still provide combo classes for their ages. If we stayed at Sheena's they are two separate classes and you would be there at least an 1 1/2. I don't think that Brooklyn has the attention spand to do that just yet. So starting the week before Labor Day, they will attend dance class on Wednesdays at 430. Also, they do an hour class instead of the 45 minute class at Sheena's. Going back to cheer camp, Brooklyn is having a blast. They are actually doing a little performance for us on Thursdays. I can't wait to it because you know Brooklyn she gets so excited to perform in front of people. Even mommy can't wait. Other than that, I think I have updated everything new on our end.
National Night Out
Frisco had their National Night out so our neighborhood put on a little party for the kids and parents. There were bounce houses, face painting, balloon making and yes even the fire truck came and so did the policeman. I am not sure why they moved this event to August because last year it was in October. Tonight was just way too hot but we managed. The kids had fun. Brooklyn got her face painted as a butterfly. Logan and Madison loved getting their balloons. Everyone enjoyed popsicles and just goofing around. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
