We Had a Great Thanksgiving
Every year we go over to MeMe and PawPaw's for Thanksgiving Lunch. I provide the cinnomen apples, the corn casserole and the homemade pumpkin pie. Grandma, Grandpa and Nei Nei join us and they bring my dad's famous stuffing. I wouldn't have the stuffing any other way. MeMe and PawPaw provide the rest of the meal. Grandpa didn't join us because he works part time at the Cowboy stadium and as everyone knows that the Cowboy's always play on Thanksgiving so Grandpa misses out on the meal. The kids love to go over to MeMe's house. They don't get to go over there as much so when we do go the really enjoy themselves. I have posted some of our pictures from Thanksgiving.
A Present Under the Christmas Tree
This year I decided to put a Christmas tree upstairs for the kids to decorate. We have so many ornaments that we really do need another tree. This past weekend Brooklyn decorated the tree herself but with some help with mommy. When we are going upstairs for bed there was a present awaiting our arriva. It was Lilly. She really likes my Christmas trees and we saw her lying under the tree. We thought it was adorable and wanted to share with everyone.

Back To Our Routine
Mommy was so glad to get everyone back on their routine. Last week for some reason Logan wanted to go to bed at 630ish or he would fall asleep on the couch or on daddy's lap. Tonight Logan didn't want to go to bed at his normal time. Finally I convinced him to go to bed after we changed his sheets on his bed. Brooklyn was also glad to get back to school. We didn't start the day off good because we missed the bus this morning. I ended up driving her to school. Mommy was not very happy. As for Madison, she was just her happy self. I have pictures from Thanksgiving and will post them tomorrow, I promise!

Decorating Cupcakes for Thanksgiving
I apologize for not blogging lately. We have been extremely busy with so much stuff that I haven't had time to write about anything. Logan had his first class social on Monday at our house and we made turkey cupcakes. We had a good turn out but a couple of my things got broken from his friends. One of his friends broke his screwdriver that he loves dearly and sometimes takes to bed with him. His mother said nothing and didn't even offer to replace it for him. If I was him mom that wouldn't have been the first thing I would have said was offer to replace it. Then another kid decided he was going to go and break some of my Christmas ornaments that I have displayed in my front area. I was not a happy camper after everyone left. I think everyone had fun but I couldn't get everyone out of my house soon enough. Unlike Brooklyn's class, Logan's class is just a different ballgame all together. Many of the mothers are fairly new to Dallas and their personalities just don't mix with mine but that is okay. I did take pictures of everyone frosting their cupcakes and will post those pictures later.

Logan and His Trophy
Logan is so proud of his trophy that he wants to carry it with him. Mommy and Daddy are very proud of Logan. We think he had fun playing soccer. I don't know if we would play with the YMCA again. We weren't really impressed with them and the team that he was on were unfriendly. I think that most players all knew each other and that made it a little awkward. Unlike Brooklyn's teammates and parents, these parents were very unapproachable. Logan even missed his soccer party after the game. Both of them played at the same time and I was in charge of Brooklyn's so we went to Brooklyn's party. Regardless, Logan did get a chance to play soccer and we believe he did have fun.
All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth
Yes, Brooklyn has now lost her other top front tooth. We all knew that the tooth was loose but when she got off the bus today the tooth was just hanging on. Once we got home, I pulled the tooth with one try and just in time for our Christmas pictures. I am not thrilled that she doesn't have any teeth but I guess these pictures will have more sentimental value than others. She does look adorable and she is so excited for the Tooth Fairy to come back to the house and leave some money. Compared to most kids, she has ahead of others loosing their front teeth. Her good friend Brandt didn't loose his front teeth until first grade and here Brooklyn has lost her two front teeth within weeks of each other.
Brooklyn Has Her Last Soccer Game
This weekend was full of stuff. Saturday the kids played their last game and unfortunately they were played at the same time. Mommy went to Brooklyn's and Daddy took Logan's to his game. I thought that Brooklyn played her best game ever. She didn't score any goals but she had two assist that ended up as scores. She also really fought for the ball. The previous games she wouldn't really fight for the ball but she played her heart out. After the game, we all went to Gattiland for some pizza and to play some games. Both kids recieved their first trophy ever and they were very proud of their trophy.

We have a Monkey on Our Hands
Madison has now figured out how to climb out of her crib. She is the first child to figure this out. Our first two kids never figured it out because they were out of the crib by 18 months the latest. Scott and I have bought new furniture for Madison but we are not getting the furniture until the first of December. I just hope she doesn't make this a habit.

Logan Sleeps With Underware
Mommy didn't know that Logan wore his underwear to bed last night. I guess daddy and Logan decided to try the underwear and when I say goodnight to Logan he is already under his covers. When he woke up this morning he was so happy. I didn't know why until daddy asked Logan if he has told me what he did. His underwear was a little wet but overall he did fantastic. That was a great surprise for me. I hope that Logan will continue this and be weened off diapers permanently.

A Fire at Brooklyn's School?
Brooklyn had a very unusable dismissal today. Right at 3pm their fire alarms went off. Because of this, they had to clear the school and wait for the fire department to come to the school. They had all kids counted for in 5 minutes and by 315 they fire department had cleared the school. Luckily there was no fire but a false alarm. Before we got word, a mom stopped to tell us that there was a fire in the cafeteria. Its funny how news travels fast. Brooklyn didn't come home till 350 and normally she is off the bus by 317. I had asked her what had happened she told me that a little boy pulled the alarm. Who knows what the real reason was but the main thing was all the kids were safe. It was quite an adventure for her.
Brooklyn's Loses Her 3rd Tooth
Yes, Brooklyn lost her 3rd tooth at school on Monday. I would have reported to you then but we were out phone service and internet service for two days. Thank goodness we didn't need 911. Brooklyn has been waiting to lose the tooth for quite sometime. The tooth is one of your front teeth. She actually looks very cute without her tooth. I did take pictures so you all can see. She was so excited because the tooth fairy gave her $4.00. She was satisfied with that amount. Some other tooth fairies give a lot more than that but I tell her that she didn't have any other money on her to give. She bought it and that is what counts.

Trick or Treat
Last night was a fun night for all. The kids were so excited to go trick or treating that they kept asking almost every hour when we are going. Daddy stayed home and handed out candy and mommy and nei nei took the kids around the neighborhood . Brooklyn was a very pretty fairy, Logan was a scary dragon, and Brooklyn was a cute purple unicorn. Madison was still too young to really know what she had to do to ask for her candy but she had the goodbye down. Almost every house we went to everyone loved Logan's costume. Brooklyn was getting upset and she thought that noone liked her costume but I told her that there were lots of fairy's and very few dragons. Lilly was a fat pumpkin and an adorable one as well. Our neighborhood is filled with young kids that many houses just had bowls of candy out in front of their door while they were out with their kids so the kids were getting mad that they couldn't ring the door bell. By the end, Madison was so tired that I had to carry her home. We have more candy than we know what to do with. Eveyone's teeth will fall out now. Overall it was a good Halloween.
