Brooklyn looses another tooth
Brooklyn comes home yesterday and tells me that she lost another tooth yesterday. She is loosing teeth left and right. I don't remember loosing so many teeth at her age. Well mommy hasn't been feeling good this week so I reminded daddy to let the "toothfairy" know to come last night but all she could find was $1.00. I think Brooklyn was kind of shocked so I told her that the tooth fairy would make up for it when she looses her next tooth. BTW she will loose another tooth in the next week or so.

Brooklyn cuts her hair
Okay, I get a phone call from Brooklyn's teacher and she tells me that she decided she was going to cut her hair. She told Mrs. Womack that her hair felt "roughy" Don't ask me what that means. Come to find out that she had sneezed and got snot in her hair and because she knew that her hair would be in knots so she decided on her own to cut out her knots of snot. Great!!!! I did look at her hair and she cut it in the front so it is somewhat noticeable. We know where we are going now.

Campbell Celebrates her 5th Birthday at Strikz Bowling
On Saturday, Campbell celebrated her 5th birthday. She actually turned 5 on January 5th but didn't have her party till now. This was her first big birthday party. Logan and Brooklyn had a blast. Madison came along with us and she was so funny. She tried so many times to pick up the bowling balls and try to bowl. Campbell's birthday theme was Barbies and all Brooklyn could talk about how she wants barbie for her birthday. What Campbell wants Brooklyn normally will follow suite.

Madison Embarrasses Mommy in the Mall
This afternoon I had to run to the mall to exchange a shirt that Brooklyn got for Christmas. I realized that I forgot the stroller so I thought she would do okay because I knew we weren't going to be there that long so I said what the heck. Well mommy learned a very valuable lesson, don't forget the stroller. I was in gymboree and they have a tv for the kids to watch. Well Madison thought it would be okay to pull a little girl's hair. I knew it was her because she has a thing right now about pulling anyone's hair. I was so embarrassed that I apologized to her mom and dragged my kids out as soon as possible. I will never do that again and I forget the stroller we will be driving back home to either get it or just don't go back.
Daddy celebrated another Birthday.
Saturday was daddy's 34th birthday. If you ask daddy he will tell you that he is just old. That morning Brooklyn asked daddy "how old are you?"I told her that you don't ever ask anyone their age except your friends of course. We had a pretty quiet day. MeMe and PawPaw came over to the house and we ordered take out. Daddy wanted a cookie cake for his birthday and that is what we got.

We Finally Have our Carpets Cleaned
Finally we got our carpets cleaned. We actually got the whole house cleaned for a pretty penny. In fact, after they cleaned the house they decided to add on additional charges to the estimate that was given to us. After my concerns and deny payment, the company called me back and apologize to me for how the employee cleaned our house. Granted, our carpets were in need of cleaning and some of the stains i knew probably would not be able to get out. When I inspected the house I came to realize that the employee did not do what he was suppose to and they are coming back out to our house on Friday to redo my entire house. They are also not going to charge me for the additional stuff. I think we lucked out. Our kids do not like the fact they can't take food nor drinks upstairs anymore and that they have to take their shoes off immediately when they get in the house. Lilly doesn't like the fact that she is now in her cage at all times while we are away from the house. Daddy always put her in her cage but I hardly did and now is in there whether she likes it or not. I just hope we can stick to our new rules and our carpets can at least stay 90% stain free.

A typical Monday
Well Brooklyn didn't understand why there was a 2 hour delay. Trying to explain that to her is impossible. She is a person who would rather be in school 7 days a week. I told her just wait. All my kids were wanting to play in the snow again but I told them that it's too cold. The truth-I don't want to hassel getting them dressed and then getting them undressed. It may be fun for them but it is not fun for mommy. Finally after 2 1/2 years we are finally getting our carpets cleaned. Our poor carpets are in such bad shape. I hope they turn out good. Madison just decided to get a hold of my Dr. Pepper and spill it all over the carpet. Not good!!! So from now on, there will be no shoes allowed on my carpet. I am going to do my best to keep these carpets cleaned and free of stains. Is that possible? Have a good one

A Snowy Day
Well we got our first snow storm of the year. The kids were so excited. I didn't even tell them until today that we were going to have snow. Once it started coming down they immediately wanted to go outside and play. Finally around 3pm we went outside to have some fun. The kids made snow angels, we made a snowman and threw a couple of snowballs at each other.

Brooklyn and Logan go to the Dentist
This morning we took Brooklyn and Logan to their dentist appointment. This was the second time for Brooklyn but the first time for Logan. Logan didn't like it very much which didn't surprise me. I have never liked going to the dentist and that is the reason why my teeth are so bad. Logan does have a couple of cavities that will need to be filled but the only way we can do that is if we have IV sedation. Right there a lone is $1100 out of pocket. I sware, daddy and mommy can never get ahead. The whole visit in itself is around $1700. Who has that kind of money laying around? I am also part to blame on this matter because I give them anything they want and daddy will be the first one to say that I am the contributing factor in all of this. I am always giving them milk and apple juice in sippy cups and especially at night because I want a good nights rest and I don't want to have to get up 5 times unlike my husband who never gets up at night. We will see what will happen. I will keep everyone posted !

Christmas Eve Night
By the time night came around, the kids were bouncing off the walls because Santa was coming tonight. Every Christmas Eve night we go over to Grandma's and Grandpa's house for dinner. we usually eat shrimp and crab legs but this year was different since both of my parents were in the hospital the last two weeks before Christmas so we ordered pizza. That was awesome and we may now have found our new tradition. It was easy and no dishes to pick up. We took a lot of great pictures so here are a few to enjoy.
Christmas Eve Day
Christmas Eve Day was chaotic. Mommy didn't get any wrapping done till a couple days before Christmas and I will never do that again. I didn't get much sleep before Christmas and I was tired by Christmas morning. So I was wrapping all day and I wrapped till 4 am Christmas morning. My good friend Michele did the same thing and we were just exhausted. Anyway, daddy thought that the kids needed santa hats. We had one santa hat but daddy thought they all needed them so he bought them some hats. Enjoy the adorable pictures.

The DeWaals and The Booth's exchange presents
This was our second annual gift exchange. The funny thing about this was when we exchanged gifts last year we broke records for the warmest day in December and this year we broke another record for the temps. Campbell and everyone came over and we ate some lunch. After lunch, we had the kids make some reindeer food for the reindeer on Christmas Eve and then the kids made some of the cutest ornaments. Once all of that was over, everyone enjoyed opening up their presents. The kids bought Brandt a gift card to Itunes, they bought Blake a little people play set and Campbell a gum ball machine for her squinkies. Mommy bought gave Michele gift cards to Target, Nordstrom, and Chick Filet. Campbell and her family bought more furniture for Brooklyn's doll house, Logan received a home depot chain saw and Madison got a doodle pad and the cutest ladybug hat. Mommy got the best gift because Michele gave me a necklace with the kids name on each coin. I love it and so does everyone else.
A Recap for December 2010
We had a busy December for our family. Both Grandma and Grandpa ended up going into the hospital via ambulance 1 week apart. Even the same doctor had them both and when Renee was in the hospital the same doctor as well took care of her. They never really found the reason for grandpa having chest pains but they did give him a clean bill of health. That was the complete opposite for grandma. She was diagnosed with a pneumonia and had to beg her doctor to go home on Christmas Eve. They wanted her to stay through Christmas but she convinced the doc to let her go home and promised her that she wouldn't go back to work until after the new year.
New Year, New Sport
Today was Brooklyn's first official day of gymnastics. Her good friend Ava is also joining the class with Brooklyn. Today looked like they really were enjoying the class and I hope she likes it as much as her dance class. Her best friend Campbell has decided not to join but maybe next year. Who knows. I wish I had a picture to post of this but they don't allow the parents inside the gym.
Like Father Like Son
This past weekend Logan has been enjoying his shaving kit he got for Christmas. I never thought Logan wanted to play with this kit as much as he has. He loves to shave and when Scott was shaving on Saturday, daddy and Logan called me into the bedroom and I saw both of them shaving their face together. It was a sight to see and I am so happy that I got the picture to prove. The saying "Like father Like Son" really is a true statement.
Happy New Year
Can you believe it is already 2011?? 2010 came and went. We had a great holiday and once our computer gets back and working I will post some pictures from Christmas. We got a lot of cute pictures of opening their presents Christmas morning. Their biggest present was that Santa gave them all bikes. They were thrilled. Overall, we had a great Christmas and very uneventful for a change.
