Logan went to the Dentist

Today was an especially long day for Logan. He couldn't eat anything after midnight and only clear liquids up till 9 am. Poor thing woke up this morning and asked me if he could have some breakfast. I told him no and he didn't have any idea on what was going to happen. Today he was having some cavities filled and they were going to take some x-rays to see what else was going on. Well the procedure was suppose to last only an hour but he was under iv sedation for 3 hours. Basically all the sippy cups I gave Logan at night to go to sleep has caused his teeth to decay rapidly. Basically, he had all of his teeth worked on with the exception of one tooth. I take full responsibility for this and all of this could have been prevented from the start. I feel so bad for Logan because I knew I was the one who caused this. It was a very expensive day for the Booth family between the dentist office and the anesthesia.

It's been a Long Time

I am so sorry for not updating the blog. Too many things going on. Since our ice storm, I have had another knee surgery. This surgery was a big and in English, they realligned my patella. I should have had this surgery a long time ago but went more the conservative way and really have paid for it. This should fix my problems with my left knee. This surgery has been challenging because I was nonweight bearing the first week and now I am partial weight bearing. At the three week mark, I can be full weight bearing but I will have to wear a knee brace for 6 weeks. It is kind of cool now because I have screws in my knee and when i saw the xrays today it was pretty cool. I have had a lot of help. Daddy stayed home the first week and you might want to ask him how it went. It didn't go well. I don't think he will quit his day job. My mother in-law helped me today and yesterday and now Aunt Nei Nei will help me for the rest of the time. At least the kids are entertained while mommy is sleeping and resting in the other room. I could get use to this but a part of me just wants to jump right in to take control again.

Iced In

Today was our first day being iced in. It's a mess out there. Twice I thought I could brave the ice but I almost crashed two times, one taking out the garbage and the other trying to get the mail (I didn't realize that Scott had gotten it.) Yes it took a lot of convincing to keep Scott home today. He did manage to go and get some fire wood so we can have a nice in our fire place. The kids didn't understand why they couldn't play out there. It's way too cold. The kids had fun entertaining us after they had a shower. Frisco ISD has already cancelled classes for tomorrow and I am guessing they might be cancelled for several days.
