I think the Booth family had a pretty good Easter. Again, Logan really got the idea of picking up Easter Eggs. Madison was still too young to know what to do but regardless she had a blast. Brooklyn and Logan woke mommy up at 615 in the morning but I told them they couldn't get any eggs and open their presents up until Madison woke up. I was mad that they woke me up that early but I also know they were excited to get the festivities started. They had a blast picking up their eggs. The Easter Bunny left them a couple of presents such as new kites, dancing animals, some new clothes and lots of candy. The dancing animals were the hit of the day. After that we went over to Aunt Andrea and Uncle Lowell's for Easter brunch. The kids had a blast playing with their cousins. The kids don't get to play with their cousins on a regular basis so yesterday was very special for them. In fact, none of their cousins even live in the state of Texas. After leaving their house, we came back home rested and then off to Grandma and Grandpa's. They had another Easter egg hunt and they got lots of presents over there. They got all kinds of candy, coloring books, sidewalk chalk, and some new clothes and of course some money to put in their penny banks. Overall it was a very successful Easter!

The Kids Dye Easter Eggs
On Friday night, the kids went over to Grandma and Grandpa's to dye some Easter Eggs. They had a blast. This is the first year where Logan and Madison really knew what to do. It was a cute sight to see and boy did they have fun putting the eggs in the dye. By the end of the night they had dye all over their hands. Mommy hates boiled eggs but the kids seem to like them. Yuck!!!! They were not happy when they couldn't put their stickers on the eggs. They had to wait to the next morning to decorate the eggs with their stickers. Logan had picked out Toy Story and the girls picked out Princesses. I have attached some really cute pictures from Friday night.
A New Mommy with New Babies
As everyone knows that my first set of babies are all grown up and are on their own flying around. The babies left their nest last week and it was a sad sight to see but to see them fly off was pretty cool. The kids were very sad to see them go because they have been with us for about 2 weeks, but mommy made a cool discovery a couple days later. I have a new mommy that made a nest in the tree across from the other tree and the nest has 6 eggs. At first there was 4 then there was 5 and as of last night there is 6 eggs. There are 5 eggs that are white and the 6th egg is a speckled egg. We can't wait for the babies to hatch and see them grow into cute little birds. The adventure begins all over. This is the first time that I have had to mommy birds make a nest in our trees. It's pretty cool to watch.

Brooklyn's Field Trip to Safety Town
Yesterday was Brooklyn's last field trip for the year. The kindergarten class went to Safety Town. They talked about 911 and how to call if there was an emergency, they explained to all the kids about the fire fighters and their gear that they use and the best part of the day, they got to ride jeeps all around the little town. The kids had a blast. Brooklyn was also picked to do do a 911 call and she did great. Overall the field trip was a success. I took a lot of great pictures but here is a few to enjoy. I just can't believe that the school year is almost over with. It doesn't seem possible that my oldest child is now going to go into first grade.

Haircut For Two
Today Mommy finally got her haircut. It has been some time since I had my last haircut. I think my last haircut was before the end of the year so it has been a long time. Well Aunt Nei Nei watched the two kids while I was gone. When I was putting Madison down for her nap, I noticed chunks of hair and scissors at the top of the stairs. Well I did some investigating and found out that Logan decided he needed a haircut. Hi reason behind it was that his hair was messy and that he needed to fix it up. Brooklyn did this, now Logan has done it and I think Madison will do the same thing. It's only time.

Cobb Hill's Annual Easter Egg Hunt
This afternoon was our annual Easter Egg Hunt. The kids were so excited all day long. They kept asking me when it was time so I kept them busy pretty much the whole day till it was time to go. Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Nei Nei came over to help with the hunt. Daddy took Brooklyn, Grandma took Logan and Aunt Nei Nei took Madison. There 3 divisions and everyone was divided up by age groups. It works out great and if it wasn't for the grandparents and Aunt Nei Nei we wouldn't have enough people to help out. Everyone got lots of Easter eggs and they had fun going through them to see what they got. It was a great afternoon.

The Kindergarten Class Performs at FML
This morning the kindergarten glass performed in front of the whole school this morning at Friday Morning Live (FML). It was adorable and the kids had a lot of fun. Brooklyn's teacher wasn't able to be there because her daughter is a freshman at Wakeland highschool and has made varsity and they are playing for the state championship this weekend. Brooklyn had been singing and practicing all week for the program. She definately a performer and likes doing that. Enjoy the pictures I have posted.
The birds are growing
The birds are growing really fast. They actually look like real birds now. Their eyes are open, they have feathers and they are very feisty birds. It's been fun having them around. There have been some ups but there have been some down's as well. I was very fortunate to get some pictures of the mommy and daddy bird on our roof top. It's a rareity to get both of them in the same picture. I hope in the next few days they will move the birds to a new home in our bigger tree in front of our house.
