Renee Goes Back to the Hospital
Today, Renee saw Dr. Feagins and well she is being admitted into the hospital tonight. For one thing, her blood pressure was 160-78 or close to it and her stoma did not look good at all. Renee can never time anything right because our 34th birthday is just around the corner, Monday. I just hope they can get her infection under control and she can get out of there. It never fails with her. She can't do anything easy.

Mommy Goes Back to the Doctor
Well today was suppose to be a normal checkup for my knee. The problem was I couldn't figure out why I was still having joint pain in my leg. Well today I found out the reason. I have a 4 inch stress fracture right under where Dr. Conway broke my bone. In his years of practice, he has never seen anyone get a fracture like this after this type of surgery. Well I am his first. I have to go back on crutches for 3 weeks and I go back to him on Oct 18th and have the leg re-xrayed. This is not good. I hate being on crutches but at least I got confirmation that I don't have to go back in the brace. I guess we will wait and see. If the fracture does not heal then I may have to go back into surgery and he will have to put some more screws in.

Brooklyn Returns to Ballet
Well after Campbell has decided not to do dance this semester, Brooklyn has decided to go back to ballet. Brooklyn and Madison are doing their classes at the same time so it makes it easier for mommy. Campbell just didn't want to do dance and after her mom pushing her to do something she has decided to let Campbell not dance this fall. Brooklyn was upset but I told her that she doesn't have to do everything with Campbell. I felt that Brooklyn needed to stay in dance. Ballet is the fundamental piece to gymnastics and cheerleading. She said okay so her we are back to ballet and I am done switching classes. I hope the schedule stays for the rest of fall and into winter.

Madison's 3rd Birthday Party
Even though Madison turned 3 on Sept 5th, it is never too late to have a birthday party. In fact, she will most likely have her parties after Labor Day since that is a 3 day weekend and many people travel on that weekend. Regardless the best present was that Renee was able to help celebrate her birthday with her. Her first two parties, Renee has been in the hospital and at least this year she was there. We did nothing special but have a few close friends and family. Next year, Madison will be able to have a real birthday party with her school friends. Overall the party was a success and she got lots of minnie mouse stuff. I really can't wait to take the kids to Disney because it will be like Christmas for them.
First Grade Performs at Friday Morning Live
On Friday, first grade performed at Friday morning live. Every friday they do what is called Friday Morning Live. They say the allegiance, sing the Star Bangled Banner, their school song, and each month each grade will perform live. They also recognize the cool kids and recognize the kids birthdays. It is really cool to see in person and the kids have a blast. This year first grade performed first this year and they will perform at the PTA meeting on Tuesday.

Going to Bed
Daddy and mommy thought with the busy day and dinner that our kids would fall fast asleep. They even fell asleep on our way back from dinner. Once we got back to the hotel, we tried to get their build a bears but the line was too long so we had to wait to morning. The kids were not happy with that but it is what it is. We got everyone's jammies on and they were already for bed. They were so excited to sleep in the hotel that they couldn't go to sleep. At first they couldn't figure out where they were going to sleep. Everyone wanted to be on the top bunk. Then when we got things figured out we realized that Logan is scared of the dark and he wanted a light on. Well we didn't have any night lights so we had to compromise and kept the hallway light on. Everyone else had to suffer with the light on but it made Logan happy. Thirty minutes had gone by and the kids were not asleep. In fact, no one went to sleep until 1030 or 11oo. It finally got quiet and we were able to fall asleep. You would think that going to bed so late would keep the kids from waking up early but that didn't happen. They woke up around 615. All I could say was why. No one really got any good sleep but we did make it through the first round of staying in a hotel. I am positive that there will be many more nights in a hotel. At least we know what to expect for the future. The story to be cont.
A Fun Weekend
We have never done anything like this as a family. This weekend for a first for many of us. It all started on Saturday morning. WE packed all of our stuff in our suitcase and off we went. First, we dropped off daddy at the hotel. Great Wolf has been known to have long wait lines to check in. After we dropped him off, I took the kids to Grapevine Mills malls. They have never been there so I thought it would be cool to have lunch over there. As we were walking into the mall, daddy calls us and said he was already checked in and our room was ready. We hurried up lunch and off we went to the hotel. The kids faces were at awe!!! I wish I had my camera with me, well I did but mommy forgot to put the memory card in the camera so no pictures. Once we opened the doors to the hotel room the kids just fell in love with the bunk beds for them to sleep in. They also had a tv in their area. The kids thought that was pretty cool. It didn't take us long to get dressed for the water park. Once we were in the park, the kids were excited to try everything. At first the kids were a little hesitant but it didn't take long for the kids to go down the waterslide. Madison loved the kiddie play area. It was big with all kinds of things to play on and shoot water with and they even had their own little slides as well. The started on those slides and then we worked our way up to the other slides. These slides didn't require tubes. As you walk up the stairs, you have to be careful because there is a big bucket that tips over and unfortunately, mommy got caught in the middle of and I got drenched but that is one of the highlights. We all went down the slide and I have forgotten our fast you go on a waterslide and the adrenaline you get from going down there. The rest of the afternoon we just played in the park until dinner.
