The Tooth Fairy Comes Back
Brooklyn was so excited this morning because the Tooth Fairy came back. This time she left $1.25. Brooklyn tried to leave a quarter for the Tooth Fairy but she gave it back to Brooklyn to put in her piggy bank. Also, Brooklyn has a clock radio in her room now and she knows that she can't come downstairs until have 7 am well she was so excited to tell mommy and daddy that she was up at 630 this morning. Oh well!. The tooth fairy also liked her new pillow that we had made for Brooklyn's teeth. We also put out fairy dust so the Tooth Fairy could see at night where her pillow was. It was very cute.

Brooklyn Loses another Tooth
Yes, it's true Brooklyn loses another tooth. She has now lost her two front bottom teeth. She was so excited today when she lost it because she knew the ToothFairy would come tonight. We had a cute tooth pillow made for her so she can put her teeth in the pillow for the ToothFairy. I just can't believe she is already losing her teeth. It doesn't seem possible. We also saw the doctor on Monday and she was up to date on her shots, so no shots were given and she was really excited. She now weighs 45 pounds and is in the 80% in weight, which means she is in normal range and she is in the 70th percentile for height. She is progressing nicely. Today Campbell, her BFF, came over to play and boy did they have fun. They played everything including putting makeup on each other. Even Logan put makeup on. I thought I would share some photos from today. Well I guess I won't share the photos because I am not sure where they went. I will look for them and post them tomorrow.

Brooklyn Turns 5 Today
Today is Brooklyn's big day. She turns 5 and is growing up fast. Like Logan, I feel like it was yesterday that I was in labor with her. I do remember that I was in labor for 12 long hours and pushing for 2 1/2 hours but when she came all that pain and agony was well worth the wait. Brooklyn has endured many obstacles in her life. She spent the first three years in daycare and she loved it. Last summer she had to have a hernia repair which became a nightmare. One simple surgery ended up being 5 additional surgeries on top of the original one. She has been through 2 additional births of her brother and her sister. She is a great big sister to Logan and Madison. This past fall went enrolled her in Apple Creek and she met if not surpassed our expectations. She is now ready to enter kindergarten. This past Saturday we had her birthday party at Stikz Bowling and she had 17 of her friends attend her birthday party. Everyone had a blast including Logan and Madison. I have included some of those pictures and pictures of the past to show you how Brooklyn has grown up through the years.

A very busy weekend
I know many of you are wanting to see pictures of the party and I will have them up sometime this afternoon. With Brooklyn's birthday party, buying a new washer and installing it ourselves, and Father's day, we hardly had time to take any breaks. I hope everyone had fun at Brooklyn's party because she had a blast. I also hope all fathers had a great father's day.

Another Week
Another week is approaching quickly. Logan finished another week of summer camp. When we pick him from school he so happy to see me and he can't wait to show us his art work. We have his artwork hanging in our family room above the fireplace. He insisted that his artwork hangs right there. Overall he is liking school, which makes mommy and daddy very happy. Brooklyn is stil continuing her phonics and progressing nicely. This week she has had something else in her mind, her birthday party. She had a birthday party last year with just 4 friends and this year it's much bigger, with 18 kids. Now that's alot. She can't wait till Saturday. I remember when I had birthday parties I was so excited and I would ask each day when the party was. Madison is doing great. She is as hyper as can be. She really is busy body on the go from the time she wakes up to the time she goes to bed. She's like the engergizer bunny. She is starting to more and more words. Well, that is it for now.

Logan and his dinosaur day camp
Logan is adjusting to school just fine. Last week was his very first week and he loved it. If you ask Logan if he likes school his response would be no but he really does like it. We are glad he likes it because starting in the fall he will be going to school 3 days a week. We just wanted to do a test run on him to make sure he does like it and he is comofortable with the whole situation. He has also brought home is very first art work work of dinasaurs and its adorable. The first one is really the most special but as they bring home more it is not as important as that first one is. He is also doing well in the potty training department. We send him off in his underware and he does fine. Therefore, he is potty trained except for night but that is fine with us. We can slowly work on that. Other than that, nothing else to report on Logan.
Brooklyn's Dance Recital
I can't believe another year and another dance recital. On Saturday evening, Brooklyn had her dance recital. They were the last performance of the year and #19 out of 20t performances. The recital started at 630 in the evening and she went on about 730. I thought that wasn't fair to them because they are young and they all have younger sibblings etc, but they did okay. As the mom, I thought Brooklyn was the best. She really practiced her routine day in and day out. You could tell that some of the dancers were worn out and tired by the time they performed but overall it was adorable. I did buy the DVD to the recital only because Renee couldn't attend the recital. I felt really bad and she felt really bad that she couldn't see it. We won't get the dvd until July or even August but when we do we can have a big watch party. The them of the dance was "Friendship" and I thought it was very appropriate for them and her group. There were about 10 dancers in her group. This will be the last year that she attends Sheena's but we are continueing the journey with another dance group here in Little Elm called Encore Dance academy.

Did Mommy Get a Bad Car?
Ok, many of you know we traded in my volvo for a Honda Odyssey. In the past, we have had bad luck with all of our cars needing lots of repairs. I was hoping that with a Honda that wouldn't happen but not a chance. Honda recalled my car due to the brake system so we took that in. The following week I noticed my air conditioning not blowing cool air. Eventually, the car over heated and it had to be towed to the dealership. I had to call Michelle, to take my kids to her house while I waited for the tow truck to arrive. I felt bad for Michele because now she has 6 kids at her house and I didn't know when I was going to pick them up. To make a long story short, I had several cracks in the radiator and they replaced the whole thing. They told me that these last for ever and you don't see this in cars that have 30,000 miles on it. We picked up the car last night and well my car over heated again. I couldn't believe it. I thought my issues were fixed but not a chance. This time I asked for a rental car because this problem should have been fixed the first time. They agreed with me. They director over the mechanics called me and told me that my air compressor fan was dead, again you never see this and so he had to order the part. Therefore, my car has to stay overnight. Its just a pain to go through this and I thought buying a honda would last a lifetime.

Logan Goes to School
Today was Logan's first day of school. He was so happy to take his back pack and ride to school. Unfortunately, I had to wake him up early because we had to drive Daddy to work today since my car decides to over heat and had to get repaired. I had promised donuts for breakfast so sure enough we got the donuts. Once we got there, we stood outside the facility and waited for them to open the door. At that point he was still doing fine. Once they opened the door we new exactly which room he would be in. He was in room B. His teacher was Ms. Jasleen. She was Brooklyn's teacher lat fall/spring so I was happy about that. Once we were in the room, he played with play dough, we colored and played with all the toys. He even had to go to the bathroom and he did it all by himself. I was so proud of him. When it was time for me to leave, thats when things got a little tough. Brooklyn and Madison were waiting in the car so I new I had to leave fairly quickly. Logan did not want me to leave. He was trying to run out of the room so Ms. Jasleen took Logan for me and I left. I was worried that the school would call me to let me know he wasn't doing well but no phone call. In fact, when I picked Logan up he had a big smile on his face and the first thing he told me was he played outside. He was so happy that he got to play outside. Also, the teacher mentioned that he loved doing his art work so I can't wait to see it. I was able to get a picture of Logan with his backpack but it wasn't till after we got home. He is anxious to go back to school on Thursday.

We Celebrated Meme's birthday today!
All of the kids and us parents went over to Meme's and Pawpaw's house to swim and eat hotdogs and hamburgers. Everyone had a blast. Meme and Pawpaw have a pretty sturdy baby pool with a slide and the kids loved every minute of it. It took a little while for Madison to get acclimated to the new pool and slide but once she figured out to work it then she was off and running and no fear in her. It turned out to be a nice late morning/early afternoon and it didn't feel that hot which was nice. I took some great pictures so I will post them on the blog. Overall it was nice to spend a quiet Sunday with MeMe and PawPaw.
Brooklyn got money from the Tooth Fairy
Brooklyn woke up bright and early Saturday morning to let mommy and daddy know that she got$1.00 from the tooth fairy for her lost tooth. She was so happy to show the money to us. She is really growing up fast and that scares mommy a little. I know she is my first born and I will always protect her more than the others. I just can't believe she will be 5 in a couple of weeks. It doesn't seem possible. Again and I say this often, it feels like yesterday I was pregnant with Brooklyn and now she is growing up and starting Kindergarten in the fall. The dentist told me that her other front tooth would probably come out in the next month or so, so we will keep everyone updated on the status of the tooth.

Brooklyn Lost Her First Tooth!!!!
Today was a very big day for Brooklyn. She lost her first tooth. It was one of her front bottom tooth. We had noticed that her permanent tooth was coming in behind it, which isn't good but the tooth finally came out. We actually went to the dentist today to have her teeth cleaned and she was really brave. The first couple of times wasn't good for her but this time was different. In the beginning, she was a little heisitant but by the end she was very comfortable there. I was proud of her. The dentist gave her a cute little tooth box to put her tooth in and now she is so excited for the toothfairy to come. She is a little early for her to start loosing teeth but they have seen them come earlier and basically she is almost 5. As of now, her teeth look healthy and she has no cavities.
