A Quiet Week
This past week has been somewhat quiet and uneventful. Monday and Tuesday I was working extensively on the consignment sale in Plano. The sale isn't until the last weekend in August but I entered in over 535 items and it took about 13 hours or so. The sale has a limit of 64,000 items and it only took people less than 48 hours to enter in their items. Actually the owners were shocked on how fast it filled up that they had to make some exceptions and is opening the sale up for another 20,000 items. This sale is really something to see and attend. You can actually get some good deals on clothes and anything else you need for your family and kids. I didn't realize how much stuff I really had but it adds up. As always, daddy says our kids are spoiled and they have too much stuff but I disagree. Other than that, nothing else really exciting happened. We will have a quiet weekend as well. Next week Brooklyn has cheer camp at her old dance studio so hopefully Campbell and Brooklyn will have fun with the camp. We will report back next week. Have a great weekend.

What's New at the Booth Household??
To be honest, nothing is really new with us. We are getting everyone ready to go back to school. It is pretty exciting because we have to buy school supplies for Brooklyn and you know the first week of school is real important in what you kids wear especially the girls. It can get expensive but its fun looking for new clothes for the kids. If you ask daddy if they need clothes, he will tell you know but if you ask mommy she will say the complete opposite. Basically they need fall and yes even winter clothes plus new shoes. It all adds up but if I have to say anything then our kids will be the best dressed kids at school. Lilly is doing a lot better. Her eye is doing better and Lilly can keep her eye open for long periods of time now and it is not as sensitive to the light.
Brooklyn had a birthday party to attend on Saturday. It was her friend Leighton from Apple Creek. Her theme was a horse party and it was a party to remember. When they got there Everyone had a sign with their name and a bandana put on. Then the kids all made horses. Leighton's mom really put in a lot of time and effort to make this happen but the horses turned out adorable. Then they named their horses. Once everyone was done the kids went outside and Leighton opened her presents and then they played games with their horses. They also got cowboy hats to take home as well has picture frames to make as well. The party itself was very creative and different than any other party we have attended. Brooklyn had a blast and it looks like everyone else did as well.

Lilly Goes back to the Vet
Lilly had to go back to the vet this morning. Last night Brooklyn noticed Lilly's right eye closed. As the night progressed they eye got worse. I took her back to the vet and somehow she has scratched her cornea. From what I am told, it happens quite frequently but it is painful. She is now on eye drops for the next 10 days. She sure doesn't like when I put the drops in but hopefully this will clear it up in 10 days or so. She struggles with allergies so much that Dr. Bobo thinks she was scratching her face and by doing that scratched her eye by mistake. What are we going to do Lilly.
Mommy Gets A New Look

Yesterday, I got my haircut, which isn't out of the ordinary because I normally only get a couple of inches cut off, but this time I got it by 9 inches. Now that is alot for me. It was time to do something different because with my long hair it was too hot and the kids loved to pull on it. Now it's to my shoulder and Scott liked it. When I came home yesterday, Brooklyn told me "Mommy your hair is short now." She liked it also. Logan and Madison don't know any differently. With the shorter hair I can keep it down and it feel nice and cool. The last 6 months or so, I have had to just put it up in a ponytail because it was too long to do something with it. I hope everyone likes it.

Favorite Thingss
I thought I would share with you all some of the kids favorite things. There might be some things that you don't know about. Lets start with Brooklyn. First and foremost, she loves pickles. This may be because I craved pickles when I was pregnant with her. Second, she loves black olives. This is true for all my kids. You can give them a can and they will eat all of them within minutes. She also loves her bunny Angel. This bunny was made with Campbell and she has to have it every night before she goes to bed. Finally, she loves her hello kitty blanket. Every night she must have the soft side down. You would think I would get this right every time but nope I even forget which side she likes. Logan on the other hand loves icecream. He will not eat any other dessert. He won't eat pie, cake or even cookies for that matter. He has to sleep with the light on in his room. I am not sure what started this but if you turn it off he will cry and scream in the middle of the night. I am hoping this is a phase he is going through. Finally, he loves his apple juice. The first thing he asks for when he wakes up is his apple juice. We go through 4 big bottles of apple juice a week. That's a lot of apple juice. Madison is getting bigger every day. She doesn't even look like a baby anymore but a young girl. Madison will eat anything you put in front of her. Out of the three of them she eats more than Brooklyn and Logan. Logan is a very picky eater and Brooklyn will eat most of the things. Oh yeah, the kids don't like potatoes nor mushsrooms. I am not sure why they don't like the potatoes. They will eat french fries sometime but most of the time they leave them. One last tidbit, Madison is saying new words every day and her newest phrase is Mommy I'm Wet!!! She is funny.

Lilly Turns 6

Well, Lilly has been with us for almost 1 year. It has been an interesting year with her. She has lost 4 pounds since Christmas. She now weighs 27 pounds. That is good. The vet has also agreed that Lilly is just not a boston terrier she is part boston terrier and part bull dog. So mommy can't say she is over weight now because of her being part bull dog. She still has her neck tumor but she is stable with that. The vet did have to remove a skin tag off of her on Tuesday and she wasn't happy with me on Tuesday when she couldn't have her water in the morning. Overall she is doing well. The picture I posted on Lilly was she decided that she was going to climb in my clean basket of towels and sleep. I thought it was cute.

Yesterday the kids had a blast at the spray park. Michelle and I decided we were going to take all the kids to the Allen spray park because Brooklyn had a party there and its a cool facility, better than the ones in Frisco but we got to the park and its closed. We found out that the park is closed every Wednesday for cleaning. Who would have thought of that. So we turned around and went to another spray park in Frisco. It was nice because there weren't very many kids around and we ate lunch there as well. It was very hard to get the kids to leave the place because they were having so much fun. Last week it was rainy and even cool but this week the heat is back with a vengence. I didn't have my regular camera with me so these pictures were taken with my iphone.

Playing with MeMe and PawPaw
The kids loving playing with MeMe and PawPawPaw and their grandma and grandpa. It's interesting to see them interact because it seems like they do different things with each of them. For instance, at grandma and grandpa they love to play driving the car and playing baby with grandma. It's quite funny to see but as soon as they walk in the door they immediately go to grandma and ask her to play and they do. When they are with MeMe and PawPaw its completely different. They each have their own routine. This past Saturday Meme and PawPaw came over for dinner and the kids had a ball. If the kids had their way then they would have played way into the night if we would let them. I was able to capture some pictures of them playing.

Madison and Balloons
Grandma and Grandpa had balloons for the festivities and as you all know our kids love balloons so we took them home. It's always a fight on who gets them first but yesterday Madison was playing with the balloons and got so tangled that she was dragging them around the house. Mommy had to get her undone but before I did I took took pictures of her being stuck.
The True July 4th
For some reason everybody wanted to do fireworks on the 3rd this year and not on Sunday July 4th. We went to celebrate the 4th with grandma and grandpa and everyone had a blast. Grandpa got up at 4 am to start cooking the brisket and we had all the fixings for the meal. As always the kids ate great and enjoyed their dessert. Even Nei Nei was at home during this holiday. Most July 4th's she has been in the hospital but it was nice to have her home so the kids can visit with her as well.
A Fun and Wet July 4th
This year for July 4th, well July 3rd to be exact, we decided to join Campbell's family and go to Kaboom Town in the Addison area for all the festivities. During the day, the reain held off and I was hoping that it wouldn't rain until after the event, but unfortunately it rained for about 3 hours. Yes, we did decide to stay because Brooklyn was really looking forward for the fireworks. Will, Campbell's Dad, got there earlier to get our seats close to the stage and a front row seat for the fireworks. The kids didn't care it was raining because regardless of the weather they had a blast. Some of the festivities were delayed or cancelled due to the rain be we still had fun. It wasn't till right before the fireworks the rain had ended and we could put down the umbrella. Earlier that day we went and bought a big umbrella for the family. We never think about buying one but we knew there could be a chance that we would use it that evening. By the time the fireworks started, Madison was ready to go and Logan wanted to leave as well, but Brooklyn just looked into the sky and was at awe through the whole 30 minutes. When they were finished, we were dreading the ride home because we thought it was going to take forever but we got lucky and the cops opened up another ramp to exit out and Scott knew exactly where to go so we got home in about 20 minutes and got the kids undressed, cleaned up and to bed by 11:30. We were exhausted.

You are probably wondering what in the world is this. I didn't know of this person until today. Michele told me about fun days on Thursdays at Willow Bend Mall. This was the first of 4 different events that will be held. He is Dave and dresses like a chicken and dances all around and the kids loved him. Needless to say the kids had a blast. They were given guitars to blow up and play with during the concert. Brooklyn was very determined to get on stage and by the end of the concert she was picked to go on stage and dance in front of everyone. There is no shyness with her and I was proud of her determination as well. Logan had fun and when no one was watching he got up and started dancing and playing his guitar like a rock star. I took some pictures with my iphone so enjoy.
Last Day of School for Logan
Today was Logan's last day of school for the summer. This past month went by so quickly. It was a different ending unlike the beginning of the month. At first, Logan was a little apprehensive about the whole situation but by the second session he loved going to school. You may ask him if he liked school and he would reply no but deep down he loved every minute of it. He loved coming home to show us his art work which he was so proud of and the days we didn't have school he would always ask when he was going back to school. It was very cute. I think now he will be ready to go back to school in the Fall and have no problems what so ever. That was our goal and I think we suceeded. Brooklyn has phonics tomorrow and that will be her last day at Apple Creek. She now leaves her mark and her brother will follow in her footsteps. Pretty Cool.
